A Retrospective Look at 2 Weeks in the Middle East

Spoiler alert: I survived. Took a lot of Benadryl, and mainly ate beef jerky, dates and Made Good nut-free, seed-free granola bars, but I’m now safe and sound in Malaga! Of course, I let my guard down and got poisoned by a delicious ice cream on my first night here; stray nut. Oh well, life is full of risks. I’m not going to let that stop me!

I was writing blog posts while travelling, but didn’t have time to post them all. So I will start adding them in now. I will date them from when they happened, so you may have to look back a bit to find them all.

Here are a few photos from our first day wandering around in Malaga. Our first evening we wandered into town and were greeted by a colourful projection show on the side of the castle walls. Part of the build up to Christmas.

Funny: we love colorful buildings in other countries, yet we insist on grey and beige in our country, even though in the land of snow you’d need colour more than ever!

We were astonished by how little the excellent produce in the Malaga market cost. We thought they’d made a mistake when adding it all up!

I wonder what the story is behind this sculpture.
